Hi, I'm Joe Miuccio, founder of Audio Pro Network and Pure Sound Post. I first came up with the idea for VAC during the start of the pandemic. Many of my voice over friends did not have home set ups or Source Connect accounts. I personally helped over 20 people set up their Source Elements accounts and home recording setups. Doing that reminded me of all of my amazing actor friends and of how much I missed recording them in person. Creating this network was a natural next step. Joe operates an audio industry mentorship platform on his global audio community, the Audio Pro Network. He also teaches audio post via his course The Audio Post Career Accelerator. He mentors young people and helps them learn all about the audio post production industry by teaching mixing, sound design and the real world workflow of recording and editing voice-over! By signing up for the VO Reel Deal service, you hereby grant to Audio Pro Network Inc. (APN) a world-wide, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, and distribute your raw recordings and reels for educational use on the Audio Pro Network Mentorship Platform (Mentorship Platform) and in the Audio Post Career Accelerator course (APCA).Mentee members are made aware, and enter into agreement with APN, that sharing their editing work with your voice outside of Audio Pro Network is strictly prohibited. Your audio will only be used for sound editing and mixing practice. Also, your name will never be mentioned in our lesson materials OR online.APCA members expressly agree not to use any Artificial Intelligence for the purpose of voice cloning or other derivative works and also expressly agree not to utilize any portion of your voice recordings or performances for purposes other than sound editing practice.APCA members agree that any recordings or performances stored in digital format will be stored in a manner designed to prevent unauthorized third parties from gaining access to the files containing a voice talent’s voice or likeness, and if such files are stored in “the cloud,” APCA members agree to safeguard the same through encryption or other current technological means.The APCA is hosted on the Teachable platform. Teachable uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) for data storage and infrastructure. They apply a range of physical, technical, and organizational security safeguards designed to protect customer data from loss, misuse or unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and/or destruction. Teachable also gives additional attention and care to personally identifiable information and sensitive personal data, and respects all laws and regulations governing personal data, as applicable.Attended Sessions:
Up to 5 audio mentee members may attend and watch our audio recording process. Keep in mind, video of these sessions are never recorded. Only the raw audio recordings will be given to the mentees on the Mentorship Platform and the APCA so members can practice editing the perfect take!Recording Platform: I use SessionLinkPRO for all my remote work in order to facilitate high quality recording, as well as a small group of mentees at the same time. The Chrome Browser is required.That's it! You'll be doing a pretty great thing for our young mentee members and the audio post industry in general, plus you'll get a great reel in the process!
